In setting up the Wilson Wheel Corral you change the angle of the
rear wheels with the turn levers on top of the unit, this puts the unit into
field position.
|
| |
|
As you drive forward the unit will automatically open out to a
Y position of standard width. This allows clearance for all the panels to
unfold. You change these levers on each side then drive forward approximately
60 feet. When the unit is completely opened up stop your vehicle.
|
| |
|
Release the lever behind the cage by first pushing inward and
slightly move lever away from the hook. DO NOT LOOSEN GRIP ON THE LEVER AS THE
PRESSURE IS LESSONED ON THE LEVER AS EARLY RELEASE CAN CAUSE SERIOUS BODILY
INJURY. Slowly raise the lever enough to disconnect the chain, which will be
putting your #2 panel on a 18 inch tire on the ground. Manually roll this panel into
place at about a 140 degree angle. Each
panel is double hinged for unleveled ground, they will flex up and down and
sideways at the same time yet the panel remains straight up and down.
|
| |
|
Putting
the #2 panel into position bumping the 11L15 tire you release the next lever
placing the #3 panel on a 13 inch tire on the ground. As you walk by the
outriggers pull the pins and swing them out. The outriggers are designed to
allow the livestock to push on the panels, the more they dig in the stronger the
unit gets. Now showing the #3 panel rolling back on a 13-inch tire.
Next go to the inside, lift the #4 panel off the steel peg
putting the panel on the ground on a caster wheel. Roll
the #4 panel into position. The number three outriggers
should not be set until the livestock are inside the
corral.
|
| |
|
If
you need to change the size of the corral, it is much easier to
change with the third outrigger not placed to accommodate the
size that is needed. The unfolded corral measures 80’ in
panel length along each side. |
| |
|
Go to the opposite side and repeat the same process stated above |
| |
|
Two thirds of the way back on the
first panel is a 14’ crowding gate,
divide gates are on the inside of the corral, the one on the left is 16 feet
behind the cage, and the one on the right is 16 feet behind the cage.
Bring the sorting gates to the center of the corral and chain them together then
open the 10 fort crowding gate. A 6-foot divide gate is at the back of the cage. |

|
Next release the breakaway hitch on the front of the corral.
Pull the pin out of the hitch releasing the hitch from the vehicle. Then lift
up on the stabilizer bar. Swing the stabilizer bar and right hitch side to the
right and place on the ground as far back as possible. The hitch is never
removed from the unit and only breaks apart. The other half of the break away
hitch is placed to the left as far as possible. |
